We really enjoyed our stay here. Jet was very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to visit that really suited our interests. The home is in a lovely hilltop village. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed, lovely linens and spectacular views. We enjoyed access to the beautiful garden. Breakfast was varied and delicious. We were appreciative for access to the well-equipped kitchen. We highly recommend a stay here.

Loved the village, lovely garden, interesting place to stay and fellow residents. Hosts were excellent with helpful advice. Excellent meal with knowledgeable wine guidance.

Mesao is like a home away from home in the Douro Valley. The hosts Jet and Ron are so nice and caring and the house is charmfull and cosy with a breathtaking view and a beautiful garden. So relaxing! A real highlight was a delicious dinner with wine tasting in the terrace. Thank you Jet and Ron for a memorable stay! Don’t miss Mesao de Provesende!
