The villa exceeded all our expectations - you can really see the effort that was put into the house to make it a perfect summer getaway. From the amenities such as coffee machine, BBQ, hairdryers etc., to the facilities such as outdoor shower, jacuzzi, multiple seating areas outside and a small gym area in the backyard, everything was really thought through. When you first enter the villa, you really get the "wow" feeling. We checked in during sunset hour and the villa has one of the best sunset views I have ever seen. The host was lovely and really helpful and provided us with guidance on what to visit in the surroundings, which was very useful since we wanted to see things that were not populated by tourists that much. Location wise - even though the villa is in the hills, you can easily reach Rethymno by car/taxi in 15 minutes, which is really convenient. We went by car to all the beaches, but also the villa stay was so special that some days you just want to stay inside and take in the views and the nature that surrounds the villa. The villa provides additional bath and pool towels, that were changed 2 times during our 10 days stay, which was more than enough. All in all - could not recommend this villa enough and we will definitely be back again!

From the moment we arrived at Rethymno Villas, we knew our stay would be something special. Nestled in the charming village of Prines, just a stone's throw from bustling Rethymno, this villa was our perfect getaway sanctuary. Manolis, our gracious host, welcomed us with the keys and warm smiles, setting the tone for what was to be a fabulous five-day stay. The villa itself is a masterpiece of comfort and style. With spacious rooms and modern amenities, it accommodated our family of four (two adults and two children aged 15 and 11) perfectly. Each bedroom boasts comfortable beds and individual air conditioning controls, ensuring personalized comfort for all. The living spaces are expansive, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the outdoor area. The pool and jacuzzi were our private oasis, ideal for cooling off during the day or enjoying a serene evening under the stars. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up delicious meals with ease, and the outdoor barbecue became the center of our evening entertainment. Location-wise, Rethymno Villas could not be better placed. The peaceful ambiance of Prines contrasts beautifully with the lively Rethymno, only a 10-minute drive away, where we explored an array of delightful tavernas. The villa's proximity to the town combines convenience with tranquility, giving the best of both worlds. Everything in the villa is meticulously planned to ensure us we have everything needed. From kitchen gadgets for home-cooked meals to the plush loungers by the pool, every detail contributes to a truly home-away-from-home experience. We left Rethymno Villas with cherished memories and a promise to ourselves to return. For anyone looking for a blissful retreat in Crete, look no further. This place is not just a stay; it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be back!

- Close to city center (8mins by car) but at the same time so quite place for a chilling stay - Comfort inside with one bath per bedroom - nice facilities outside with jacuzzi and swimming pool, two different large tables, one for coffee etc and the other for lunch and a barbecue - the quality of each part of the house is obvious (from simple things such as tables, doors etc to the control system of the house temperature and mattresses) - the owners really kind, flexible and helpful
