This was an emergency booking as our original hotel double booked. I didn’t look in too much about the hotel, we just needed somewhere to stay but we were surprised when we arrived. Such a beautiful hotel and excellent staff, def value for money and late check out was greatly appreciated

We made a last-minute reservation and we were pleasantly surprised with how lovely this hotel is and how accessible it was coming from the Lake District. The facilities were wonderful and the hotel staff made us feel very welcome. When we arrived, we were so pleased to discover that we were offerred interconnected rooms to accommodate our big family. This made our stay extra special.

Nice feel to the hotel. Fairly quiet. Nice decor. Bed very welcoming, but a little too soft for me. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and apart from the black pudding was tasty. Small swimming pool, but again nice.
