A real gem of a place. Fabulous views out over the ocean. A million details that make this such a stylish and homely place to stay. A proper kitchen that you can actually cook in, with knives that are sharp and high quality pans etc. Very comfortable bed and endless hot water for showers. The terraces are perfect for any part of the day and in summer, I'm sure the pool is great to cool off in. Very fast WiFi for streaming video, playing games or the odd bit of work. PERFECT!

The Hideaway is an amazing location with ocean views where you can see sunrise and sunset. It is very close to Jardim do Mar which is an incredible village right on the ocean. It is very well connect to the rest of the island, where you can get there from Funchal in 45 minutes and to the North side of the island very quickly. The house design is amazing. It is a renovated stone cottage that is now a mix of modern and traditional design. The space was very clean, there were suggestions for things to do on the island, the host was very accommodating and communicative. One of my favorite stays in Madeira!
