Great location, near Charles bridge and the castle. Small hotel, lovely staff and the owner Peter was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this location as the old town was so crowded, this area in the lesser town was much more comfortable to walk around.

Took my mother for an exceptionally successful long weekend away. Great location, clean and tidy. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Food was very good, we ended up having main meal of the day here. The atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. If you are an able and reasonably fit walker you can get to most of The interesting by foot easily. 3 minutes Charles Bridge, 12 minutes old town square , short uphill walk to castle/cathedral complex and monastery. Highly recommend! Thank you to all at U Schnellu. I have included photos of the hotel and one view from hotel with tram.

Excellent location on the "quieter" side of the river. Close to the castle and plenty of bars and restaurants. The rooms were large, comfortable and in keeping with the historic hotel itself. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel bar and restaurant served traditional Czech food and drink.

The hotel has a perfect central location, with almost all the main attractions within easy walking distance. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If they can, they’ll let you check into your room early, and if you have to leave early, they even prepare a breakfast package for you. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! :)
