This was a first time visit to Positano, and indeed a first time in an apartment, we always stay in top level hotels as a norm. The whole experience was absolutely outstanding. The location, view, cleanliness, amenities, staff and the service quite simply put......could not have been better!!!! Imara and her team were the epitome of what exceptional service is defined as being. She was always available, always helpful and cold not do enough for us, not that we asked for a great deal, it wasn't needed. On our final day it was my wife's birthday, we hadn't made Imara aware of this, as we weren't looking for anything special to be done, but somehow, and i assume from the passport details, Imara found this out. At 8am that morning the door bell rang and there stood a member of staff with the most delightful champagne breakfast, pastries, fruits, etc, and a hand written note from Imara wishing my wife happy birthday. This typified the fine little details that Imara and her team took note of. Believe me when i say that we have travelled far and wide, stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, and of course the level of service has been outstanding at many of them, but in a small coastal town in Italy we found that size and reputation does not mean excellence is exclusive to the bright lights and statue of the residence, but more than ever it relies on the nature of the people providing the service, and on this you will find no better example than Imara at the Villa Yaira.

Short answer: everything. The size of the room was incredible. The breakfast was amazing, even better enjoyed on the balcony. The daily room cleaning was impeccable. The staff was unbelievably helpful and provided everything we could ever ask for. Location and general cleanliness was also great. We will be back.

The staff are amazing! I have never stayed anywhere where the staff genuinely want to make your stay fantastic. The breakfast served on the room terrace every morning is amazing! The view whilst eating breakfast is amazing!

Beautiful view, they bring the breakfast to our room and its was nice eating the breakfast with the nice view in the balcony, I like the room and the size of the room good. They did upgrade for us because of my birthday .. Thanks a lot

Great location on Amalfi Coast, with very wellcoming stuff. The villa has an excelent position with sea view and it is very close to the center of Positano and the beach(15 min walk). Great breakfast with sea view, served in your balcony.

Breakfast, delivered to the room, was probably the most generous I have seen. An excellent variety of fruit, pastries, breads, meats and cheeses was tasty and beautifully presented. Easily enough for two!

The views are unbelievable. The staff are amazing - very helpful. The breakfast is beautifully presented and is stunning set against the scenery. The rooms are exactly as displayed in the photos. We stayed one night in the Romantik room with balcony and 2 nights in the Deluxe Double Room with sea view and balcony. Both were stunning and per the photos. The Deluxe Double Room had the advantage of two balconies on either side giving sweeping views and different perspectives.

Loved everything about this place! The room and view were beautiful, amazing staff, a fantastic breakfast and one of the best showers I’ve ever been in. We have stayed in several places along the Amalfi coast over the last couple of weeks and this was definitely the best accommodation.
