The most attentive and caring hosts you will ever stay with. Gennaro and Emily went above and beyond to ensure we had the best holiday experience in their beautiful part of the world. They provided so much helpful information and arranged car parking, carried our suitcases, booked taxis and boat cruises. Gennaro even took my sister down the hill to Positano on his scooter to ensure she didn’t miss our cruise. There is nothing this wonderful family won’t do to ensure your holiday in Montepertuso in perfect. The recently renovated villa is very well equipped and clean with the most gorgeous views of the coastline and village. Breakfast each morning was a lovely addition with good coffee too. Positano is easily accessed by catching the bus from the village square and also a good grocery store and restaurant in the village. We also did the cooking class with Emily and had a fabulous time. The 4 nights we spent in Montepertuso was the highlight of our 4 weeks in France and Italy.

The host was amazing. He welcomed us so warmly and explained everything, gave recommendations and was always willing to help. He is the most amazing host that we have ever had! Genny is truly a gem. He carried our suitcases to the property, alerts offered help and suggestions and brought us a delicious breakfast each morning.

Our stay at Emily and Genny’s Villa was nothing short of exceptional. The warmth and hospitality began weeks before we even arrived in Italy, with Gennaro personally reaching out to help us plan a smooth arrival from the port—no small feat with two kids and four oversized suitcases in tow! From the moment we arrived, Gennaro and his family went above and beyond—greeting us with open arms, managing our luggage, arranging restaurant and taxi bookings, and sharing thoughtful recommendations on the must-dos around Positano and Montepertuso. Each morning began with a beautifully prepared breakfast, enjoyed with sweeping views of the sea that made it hard to leave the table. We absolutely loved the balance this location offered: a quiet, relaxed village feel just 20 minutes down an ancient scenic trail—or a 15-minute taxi ride—into the vibrant heart of Positano. Thank you, Gennaro and family, for your incredible care and generosity. Our experience was a perfect 10/10, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Bellissimo!
