It was convenient for where we needed to be, and the price was right. Staff were friendly. Large room with two chairs, which seems very rare these days.

It was quiet and the staff were lovely. The TV was great. Very hot water and strong shower jet (despite archaic equipment). Hotel was quiet and room a lovely size.

It is ideal if you need to be in Portsmouth to catch an early ferry to France. The room was basic, a bit tired and no luxury to speak of. But we were there for less than 9 hours, so it was fine. There was also a lot of parking spaces.
