The breakfast on the whole was not bad however the sausage on both days that I had a full Scottish Looked and tasted as if it had been cooked sometime before then reheat in a microwave.

The location is perfect in the little village of Portpatrick overlooking the sea. Well run hotel with pleasant, hard working staff. The bedrooms, despite being a bit dated are kept scrupulously clean and our room had a great powerful shower. We had breakfast and dinner twice and all were very good.

We stayed one night at this property, it was lovely. We had travelled from Ireland by ferry and it is a 10 minute drive from the Cairnryan port. It's a small hotel, located on the sea front. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant (both were fantastic). The staff were so friendly and helpful and our family room was spacious, had very comfy beds and a beautiful sea view.
