Location. View. Space. It’s a bit of a hidden gem. And we were totally bowled over by the warmth and generosity of the hostess. It left an impression.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very cleverly designed. Beautiful view of the harbour and central to everything on Portovenere including ferry access to the Cinqueterre.

Location was interesting as it is in the midst of a working and tourist community. Lots of bakeries nearby and restaurants as it’s generally excellent. Plunging into the sea in several locations is easy ( with good foot ware) and the sea is warm and healthy with fish. Bring your swim goggles !
