The staff was outstanding, and the location was grand,the bar didn't open until 16.00 and the restaurant some time later. We used the bar a few times but not the restaurant.

I really liked the creative and novel concept. The design is really interesting, especially the bar/restaurant, breakfast room and rooftop terrace with the pools. The room was more comfortable than expected (I loved the boxing option!) and I slept very well. It was great to have luggage storage while I was sightseeing. The staff were extremely friendly, especially when I asked about the history of the place, and the breakfast was excellent. Even though I am probably not the typical guest here (age 54!), I enjoyed the experience and would visit again, bring my kids (teenagers) and even spend longer to enjoy the communal facilities. It is also worth noting that there is a really good Fado venue opposite called the Ideal Clube.

The place is super cool, the bedrooms more spacious than you expect and very comfortable, the bathroom is quite roomy too. They have a nice buffet breakfast and the location is super central!
