Hostel Overview

The Passenger Hostel is located in the iconic S. Bento Train Station, within the UNESCO World Heritage area of Porto. It offers private and shared accommodation, a bar and free WiFi access.
Dorm rooms feature a private locker for each guest, a curtain for more privacy, a bedside power socket and an individual light. All rooms have access to shared bathrooms with a shower and a hairdryer.
All guests can use the shared kitchen, and the area is filled with dining options. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests’ use.
Douro riverside is a 15-minute walk from The Passenger, and Galerias de Paris street is 400 metres. Santa Catarina shopping street is less than 5 minutes’ walking.
Porto International Airport is around 16 km away, and S. Bento Metro Station is at the doorstep.

Please note that guests must pay a refundable EUR 5 deposit in cash for a copy of the key to the property.
Please also note that towels are available for rent, at an extra fee of EUR 5 per towel, with a EUR 2 deposit.

Super central, very chic, classy, and stunning hostel! Love the vibes of the place, and the people are so friendly and welcoming. There’s social events happening almost every single day so it’s very nice for travellers who want to meet new people!

The staff at the hostel were very, very generous, taking the time to show me around and checking up on me to make sure I was safe (first time solo traveller in Morocco). They also go above and beyond with their flexibility with check in times and making sure people get to and from the airport safely. The breakfast is freshly cooked in the mornings with traditional Moroccan tea, and the living area is really pretty. For the amount you pay for the night, this place is great value. It was a little far from the city centre, so you had to walk a long way or catch a taxi for most sight-seeing, but there are loads of taxis and the location meant it wasn't too loud at night.
