This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly, helpful staff and a delicious breakfast selection. The location couldn’t be better, right in the centre of things but in a mainly pedestrian street, so no traffic, only live music from street performers to entertain you when eating in any of the restaurants close by. We loved the city, the people and this hotel and hope to return again.

Located on lovely pedestrian/touristic street in the heart of the city. Nearly everything in the city is a walkable distance away, so we never really needed to take the public transport/taxi unless we did day trips out of town. It's also about 5 minutes away from Sao Bento train station, so it was easy to get there even with our luggage. Staff was very nice, they recommanded restaurants to us, and helped us book them. One complementary drink voucher was given to each person in our party to enjoy at the hotel bar during happy hour. Room was clean, and water, Nespresso coffee pods, and tea sachets were replaced each day. Beds were also redone each day without having to ask for room service. Shower pressure was amazing.
