Apartment Overview

Situated in the Porto's historical center, these charming apartments are located on the Douro River, in the Ribeira area. The scenic and modern Oporto Home - River Front are a 7-minute walk from the iconic D. Luís Bridge, which accesses the Vila Nova de Gaia riverside.
The units are inserted in a renovated 18th century building and include a living room with a sofa and a smart TV, free WiFi, private bathroom with hairdryer, fully-equipped kitchenette, and a view over the river or the Vila Nova de Gaia riverfront area. The modernly decorated apartments have exposed stone walls and some feature a balcony with a full view of the Douro River.

The location of this property is outstanding. So close to all the restaurants and bars, but still really quiet. Outstanding views of the river, literally couldn’t be better. Just be careful when booking as some rooms have no view. The building is stunning.

We loved the location (just a few streets off the main tourist area) with superb riverside and Dom Luis bridge views. We enjoyed walking everywhere (steep in places), so we could appreciate the old cobbled streets with their colourful architecture and also found restaurants and pastry shops frequented by the locals. The apartment provided us with everything that we needed and it was even better when we found out that it had a 'no smoking' policy (not as advertised). The taxi service from the airport (arranged by Oporto Home) made our transfer to our apartment very easy. Good public transport - organised our own trips to Pinhao and Aveiro

The place is great. Had a side view on the river, as advertised. The area is very touristic, but quiet at night. Nice riverside restaurant in the same building, and places worth exploring in every direction. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Some utilities (e.g. clothes iron, blender) could use fixing/replacing and the drain was getting clogged very quickly during showers, but these were very minor inconveniences compared to all the upsides.
