Bradley “Exceptional! Great location, beautiful apartment in a quiet street, with everything you could need”

The location is fantastic, it is so easy to walk into town and to bars and restaurants, and the host has a helpful list of more local places to eat. The apartment is brilliant for two couples and is a very nice conversion of an old grand house. The pictures really do not do it justice. The old balcony now sits in the middle of the building, with industrial steels and particle board juxtaposed with ancient stonework and metalwork. It is just beautifully done. The whole apartment from the bathrooms to the kitchen is well equipped, and the welcome basket or water and wine and nibbles was very welcome. Things we especially loved were the retro Technics stereo system, the coffee pod machine, the huge fridge freezer, the thoughtful provisions in the bathrooms, the plentiful supply of umbrellas (essential for Porto!) and the crisp bedding on comfortable beds. Make sure you enjoy a glass of port on the grass terrace in the evening, it is a great spot to sit and enjoy the sun, watch out for the Beagle when she comes to to say hi!

There was more then enough space for our family of 5. Furthermore, there is a nice small garden with children playing area and nice pond with fish. Kitchen and other spaces are well equipped and stuffed. Jose is very polite and kind host . House is very close to the most historic places and restaurants in Porto. A lot of public transport options are next to the house. We could say that this place was perfect for our family and we can highly recommend it to others.
