The property was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were well equipped and the beds were comfortable. There was a complementary bottle of wine waiting in the bedroom which was a welcoming touch. Tea, coffee and iced water were available all day. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice and there was a hot option, freshly cooked to order, also available. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely place in the centre of Porto you wouldn’t know that you were in the centre though. Lovely grounds and quiet. Frank the host was very friendly and knowledgeable the rooms were very light and comfortable. Breakfast was at 8am there were a couple of time that we couldn’t do breakfast because of trips and an early airport departure but thay would make you up a breakfast box with ample things inside. When we did have breakfast it was very good fresh fruit pastries bread ect and you could have eggs to order fresh. Would definitely recommend Casa Kala and would definitely stay there again. Well done to everyone involved in Casa Kala.

A wonderful oasis in central Porto. A former mansion newly renovated to a very high standard. Excellent facilities, very helpful staff and very good breakfast. The welcoming cheese platter and wine at our late arrival was wonderful. The security and door entry systems worked well.
