Guest houses Overview

Located in the heart of Porto, Cale Guest House offers modern, brightly coloured, air-conditioned rooms with a balcony or patio. Historical monuments, museums and churches such as Casa dos Maias and Porto Cathedral are within a 10-minutes’ walk away.
The building and all of its areas were fully refurbished in 2018. Each room features stylish décor with wooden parquet floors, white painted walls and large French-style doors which open out to views of the city. There is a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom decorated with mosaic tiles and free toiletries.
Cale Guest House serves a buffet breakfast daily with homemade jams, cakes and fresh juices. An in-room breakfast option is available and several restaurants, cafés and bars are a 5-minute walk away.
Cale has a chic communal lounge and seating area with a bar, a flat-screen cable TV and a sofa lounge. There is a furnished terrace and Free Wi-Fi is available.
Porto (São Bento) Railway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Francisco de Sá Carneiro International Airport is a 20-minute drive away. An airport shuttle is available upon request.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. The location was fantastic. Great value.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. I liked the ability to make a cup of tea and have a biscuit after a long morning sight seeing, and a place to sit in the evening and have a glass of wine. The toiletries in the bathroom from a local supplier was a nice touch too. Code entry felt very secure.

“Great Place in a Historical Building Near Ribeira”

The location is excellent, right in a historical building close to Ribeira, offering easy access to Porto's main attractions. Breakfast is included, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Despite staying for only two nights, they cleaned our room after the first night while we were having breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch.
