The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the nearest metro station and close to the downtown area, yet not so close as to be in the middle of all the chaos. At least 3 supermarkets within a 3 min walk. Elevator in building so you don't need to lug your suitcase around. Flat was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a getaway holiday, including a coffee machine, washing machine, ironing board, pods and all the cutlery you need. The washing machine and dishwasher were very quiet which was great, you can keep them running whilst you're in the apartment. There is aircon available in all rooms, I can see that coming in handy during the summer, however we did not need it going in November. The rooms all have blackout curtains which was good for me as a light sleeper, however you'll have to close all the curtains including the ones in the living room as there is a panel for light to come through between the bedroom and living room - as I found out my first night. The hosts were very friendly and communicative and they provided us with a booklet of recommended restaurants and things to see and do in Porto, which came in super handy. If you're coming from downtown or the waterfront it is an uphill climb, however the whole city of Porto in general is very hilly so you won't get away from the hills as long as you're in Porto. Also very easy to get Uber and order food if you don't fancy going out.

It’s the first time we have been to Porto and have loved every minute of our stay . The apartment was perfect, every aspect of it was faultless! The communication from the hosts was excellent and the suggestions were really helpful too. Location was great for us, as a base to explore from. We were able to find are way round comfortably. Finally, the breakfast was like everything else, spot on! Again the attention to detail was great. We will definitely return to Porto and won’t hesitate to book this apartment again 😊

The hosts were great in terms of communication, and super welcoming when we arrived. The apartment is located in a nice area with lots of cute cafés and vegan restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean and comfortable.
