Guest houses Overview

Set in the centre of Porto, A Portuguesa Guest House is located 650 metres from the white stone buildings and tree lined streets of Avenida dos Aliados. Some of the bedrooms have a balcony.
Each of the rooms is simply furnished with wooden furniture and white-washed walls. The rooms include TVs, and the private bathrooms have a shower. Some rooms have views over the terracotta roofs of Porto.
There are many restaurants and cafes within 300 metres from the Residencial. A supermarket is less than 50 metres along the street for groceries and refreshments.
From 8AM to 12PM, the front desk arrange for luggage storage for guests wanting to explore the city after check-out.
Clérigos Tower is located 500 metres away from the hotel and the São Bento Train Station is less than a 15-minute walk away.

The location is great, in a wonderful neighbourhood. The house itself is very beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room has airconditioning which was good. The staff, Adriano, was very helpful. The location was central to many places to visit.

I came early to drop off my backpack and the lady was so kind as to give me my beautiful room right away. All was pristine, with lovely blue tiles. There is a lobby area with microwave, kettle etc and gentle live street entertainment in the evening. I could easily walk to Porto's downtown and nice eating.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Access to hot water for coffee was nice. Located close to Trindade metro station.
