Of course we liked the jacuzzi. We were pleased to find out that it is straight on the sea so you can hear waves. The host is very nice and friendly

The warm welcome from Giovanni. He is a dab hand at Google Translate. The apartment is well-equipped, including chairs and umbrella for the beach and the air con is quiet. Giovanni went above and beyond in ensuring that my brother got the medical assistance he needed during our stay. The terrace is a cool spot for breakfast. We enjoyed the walks along the beach and also the nearby Old railway line, now a path and cycle route.

Perfect host and accommodation on beach. Apartment was high standard, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We could not have asked for a better apartment. Beach location was ideal for sunbathing, swimming and walking a few minutes along the sand or boardwalk to lovely restaurants and Porta Palo. Food store was a few minutes away.

This is a great apartment to enjoy the 800m long golden beach, which runs from its door to the harbour at Porto Palo. The beach was nice and quiet during our stay in May, though that meant only one of the restaurants behind the beach was actually open. A short drive away is the excellent Ristorante da Vittorio (Sicily Unpacked on BBC with Locatelli and Graham-Dixon). The apartment is well equipped and has a stove and washing machine in the kitchen, a lounge, two bedrooms and a shower room. The bed was quite low but comfortable. The outdoor space has a table where you can enjoy your meals and a wood burning hot tub. You need a car but there is secure private parking; don't trust Google Maps with the address as it'll send you along to the Roxy Bar but the entrance is at the junction of Via Piemonte with Via Pisa - try Via Piemonte 14 (not 16). There is a small store nearby for odds and ends, but Penny in Menfi is only 10 min away and has everything you'll need. Giovanni was a great host providing a warm welcome and helpful advice.
