A beautiful, traditional little place in a perfect location in Porto Moniz. When you close the gate you are in another world. Friendly chickens, grape vines and banana trees. A perfect oasis. I would highly recommend for a unique experience. The Madeira wine, eggs and bananas on kitchen table were so nice.

If you're coming to Porto Moniz and want somewhere to stay with some character choose Waves Song Cottage! A great place to stay, so close to the natural pools and the restaurants/small supermarkets and then able to return to the cottage for some peace and quiet. Off street parking is also a big plus. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and good tv/wifi connections. Thank you to the owner for a quick response to my question re the tv. If we were to return to Porto Moniz - this is where we'd book,

We loved this little cottage for our stay. The location is amazing, everything you need is in short walkable distance. The house is well equipped and has a cute cottage flair with chicken in the garden and outdoor spaces to have breakfast in the sun with sea view aswell. The car could be comfortably parked in the driveway.

Traditional Madeira home in the center of town. Very comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Restaurants and stores are a short walk. The sea is just across the street with the famous volcanic swimming pools. The house is secure and has a wild orchard. The owner was gracious and responded expeditiously to questions that arose..
