It was absolutely amazing, quiet and plenty of nature around, the view from the apartment is stunning. The apartment itself is well equipped, conveniently located in Porto da Cruz. Communication with Carolyn was very good and helpful :)

We had spent a few nights in Funchal but wanted to experience life away from a Madeiran city. Vivenda Linda Vista was perfect for what we required. The village of Porta da Cruz has some fantastic restaurants and bars to experience local life. I must especially mention Pipas and the Bakery. The staff in Pipas are constantly on the go - probably the best serving staff that I have come across anywhere and yet constantly friendly. Try the Poncha at both Pipas and the Rum Distillery - exceptional! Easy access to the main road to Funchal, North and beyond - just take your time driving top see the sights!
