Staff all very friendly, room was clean and warm. Easy walk to the cliffs and bay. Friendly locals in the bar. 15 minutes from Stonehaven with the Fireball New Year Parade.

Basic and clean Pub in the other half of the building. Host lit the small fire for us in the pub. Room was was basic but ok, sheets and doona covers clean. Small fridge in the open fronted cupboard. Ironing board and iron. Smelt a bit of cigarette smoke. Bathroom was fine although the shower was in the bath. Breakfast included was cereal packets in a basket. Milk was provided. Wifi was bad, intermittent. Heater worked and warmed up the room. Host was helpful. When you’re on a long driving trip you look for budget hotels. This was one of those, Ok for an overnight stay but not for a longer stay.

Great location for a customer I have nearby. Can't fault it, neat and clean and cheap.
