Staff were wonderful and we stayed for one night, as we were transiting thru. It was a mixture of retro with a newer tv that you could watch Netflix on, but the vibe was a mix of 1970's with 1980's. This mostly had to do with the structure and fittings. So it does live up to its name and would recommend. It even had a small microwave, besides that standard bar fridge and kettle.

Comfortable, in a fairly good location, rooms(1and2) were a good size.
