Simply all. La signora Marisa, the lady managing the hotel and the restaurant is incredible. She does one million things, all of them at the best. The restaurant is outstanding for quality and context. Wonderful garden. Nice people serving. The rooms comfortable and beautifully placed in the ancient buildings of the small village. The environment was so welcoming. The nature outside fascinating. I will come back absolutely.

Al Vecchio Convento is certainly a place with a soul! Staff is amazing, always helpful and friendly. No problems with pets or parking. Room was large enough and we were lucky to have one with a balcony (view on the small stony street in front of the hotel). The bed was really comfortable! Breakfasts were tasty, diverse and included local ingredients. Restaurant on-site is open for dinner each day and for lunch on weekends. Quality of the dishes is amazing! Each day a dinner menu is proposed for a slightly reduced price. For some, a disadvantage might be: proximity of a bell tower (chimes at full and half hours between 6am and 11pm), some mosquitoes and the age of the place itself (which might be an advantage as well!).

Al Vecchio will forever hold a special place in my heart. The food is outstanding the the hospitality exceptional. The town itself is lost in time and one of the most beautiful and calming places I’ve visited. Would 10/10 recommend!
