After a long journey, entering this beaufiful, peaceful flat with a note from the owner welcoming me with a few gifts was priceless. I immediately felt at home. The kitchen is very well equiped, the living room is cosy, the bathroom, although on the small side, is functional, the bed/mattress excellent, and the biggest surprise was that there was a washing machine. What I was expecting, though, was the view, and oh my it was even better than I anticipated. Not only breathtakingly beautiful but alive, with the ebb and flow of the tide that turns it into a living painting. I spent hours watching the birds and how the estuary changed hour by hour. It certainly made rainy days more entertaining! What else... The place is very quiet and the location in Porthmadog is ideal to explore the region on buses and trains (the main bus stop is literally 2 minutes walk away from the flat). There is a big TESCO supermarket and every shop you may need. Lots of walks too right from your doorstep. I'm not sure whether my travels will take me back to Porthmadog, but wherever I go next, I will surely miss this apartment.

Outstanding! By far the best holiday accommodation I have stayed at in North Wales. Beautifully decorated and high quality. Really helpful host and gorgeous area to visit. Will definitely book again.
