Nuno is a gracious host! He met us and showed us to a beautiful room. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The decoration is very rustic and just right. The whole property is spectacular but the room was perfect. We chose to have supper provided and it was lovely. Certainly choose this option if available when staying! We had a good night's sleep in a beutiful environment and can certainly recommend Quinta da Dourada to anyone who is thinking of visiting. Oh! I nearly forgot to say the Shower was awesome!

Different varieties for breakfast, bed is super comfy, cottage is super cozy, and the dogs are super friendly (especially Ruka, he stayed in front of our cottage the whole night and also took us around to see the sheep and protected my dog from the other dogs who are a little more active). The view is a hugeee plus. Love it so much i'll definitely go back again.

Quinta da Dourada is a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. The surroundings are lovely, the property is clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is very calm. It feels close to nature and ideal for a quiet getaway.
