I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in every aspect. The room was very clean, towels were changed daily, and the room was tidied up regularly. There was a kettle available so I could make tea and coffee. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. Although the breakfast didn’t quite suit my taste, it was very diverse. On a day when there was a power outage in Portugal, having a generator at the hotel literally saved our lives! We didn’t have to go without light or internet. Moreover, all restaurants and markets in Portalegre were closed that day, so I ended up with nothing to eat. Even though the hotel kitchen was closed due to the power cut, the receptionist kindly made me a toast! I’m truly grateful to them. All the staff were very friendly and sweet.
