The room was awesome, great views in our room of the pool. The room was well maintained. The surroundings within the resort were very tranquil. Most staff were very busy, and made time for guests. Food was actually quite nice.

Room was exactly as advertised, pool area was excellent. Food was so much better than expected, a full on great restaurant. We only ate brekkie once but it was delicious, and so was the dinner menu.

-Nice location at the bottom end of 4 Mile Beach with an interesting rainforest concept. I enjoyed the pool area and the boardwalks connecting the hotel. The sounds of birds, insects, frogs and running water make the complex feel peaceful. -Short drive from Port Douglas town centre, and they offer shuttle bus packages for guests without cars. -Rooms are large with plenty of space to open luggage. Every room has a dehumidifier and they ask that you keep the AC on at all times to keep the humidity at bay. Our rooms were always dry and cool when we came back. -Thankfully we were not hounded into watching a 2 hour long timeshare presentation as we arrived in the evening and had plans most days. But we also missed our welcome drink and coupon booklet and didn't get them until our second last day, still a win-win. -All the staff we interacted with were very nice and accommodating.
