It was a really nice property , stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Had games for kids . Nice restaurant for breakfast. Pool was really nice !

Overall stay was great, the rooms were modern, comfortable and modern, bathrooms were clean and tidy with linen. Having a two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family with 2 young kids. Pool was perfect for our young family, having shallow lagoon style allowed us to stay close to our kids while they splashed around. Breakfast was good value, a great selection of hot and cold foods. Disappointed with a couple things, pool bar closing at 3pm when was signed 5pm with no ‘last call’. Dirty glasses and rubbish left around the pool when staff didn’t collect after closing. Restaurant same as above, no service until 5pm. The two bedroom apartment we got had 3 split systems in it, but no remotes to control. I went to reception to ask for help but was told they didn’t have spares or couldn’t get me one and only option was to wake my kids up and move rooms. Disappointed with the reception staff which were on that night and the way the situation was handled.

We had an amazing time at oaks ,port douglas.The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable .The property itself was very beautiful with excellent facilities .

Positives - The resort has a great pool social area; rooms are clean and good size. Staff were accommodating and approachable. What Needs work- - 2 restaurants areas and none were operating for lunch whilst we were there over a weekend. - Pool bar was not open on the hours advertised. - breakfast buffet has limited selection; needs work. - weekend surcharges for drinks. 😑 bit unnecessary given it’s and already captured market. Have stayed at a lot of oaks across Australia and expected a lot better for this location.
