The beautiful cabins at Russell Place are exactly as pictured, I stayed in the single private room. The bed was comfy and big enough to accomodate my tall frame (5’10). The fan was powerful and kept me cool through the evenings. I stayed in the middle of a Typhoon but my cabin kept nice and dry. The staff were very helpful and accomodating, offering free use of the property’s umbrella and even printed off a document for me when I asked. Booking my van transfer to El Nido through reception was easy & well priced. It’s a short and easy walk down to the beach and the main part of town where there are plenty of restos and bars to choose from. Directly across the road from Fat Cat Bistro which offers excellent food & drinks and friendly service. The bathroom facilities are kept very clean and tidy, the shower water pressure is good, with 2 of the showers offering hot water. The free wifi and drinking water are very handy.
