Costello Hotels Port Augusta was a great hotel to stay at, right in the heart of Port Augusta, it provided a modern and very comfortable stay for the night, with little to no noise being heard from the roads or other rooms. It has everything you need to cook a small meal which was a bonus, and Coles is less than a minute walk around the corner from the front door. Something to note would be that the carpark is at the back of the property off the side street and is about a 100 meter walk to the front door, however clear Instructions were provided and the carpark was secure. The other thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, and requires guests to climb 3 flights of stairs (Max 30 stairs total). There was also very limited to little lighting on the second level, but I believe this was due to renovations on the property at the time of our stay.
