Georgios “Excellent stay at Lovelace.”

This was our third time at Lovelace but in the summer this time. We love the house but the surroundings as well. It was great sitting in the garden and listening to the stream. Very useful to have the bridleway next to the house. Great location for exploring Exmoor and further west Devon. We love Porlock Weir. It’s such a special village. Uschi was great with come as always. We will be returning!

Great location. The house has everything one might need. This was our second stay at Lovelace and we will definitely be coming back. Porlock Weir is very close and has some great places to eat.

This was the most relaxing, most peaceful and idyllic place I have ever stayed. So much so I contacted the owner to ask if I could stay longer, which I did. Lovelace is the most beautiful, well equipped, as close to nature as you could possibly get, and the host is the most accommodating and lovely person I had the privilege to briefly get to know. Jim who opens the toll gate is also an amazing and lovely person. This break for me was heavenly. Thank you Uschi 🙏 xx

We were very impressed with how comfortable and roomy the cottage was. It was very clean and tidy and what we loved most was the peace and quiet. We were very happy with our stay there 10 out of 10.
