We booked this hotel based on the reviews, and were slightly concerned when it turned out to be one of those hotels you see hundreds of in France - on a main road, and potentially a relic of a bygone age. We needn't have worried, this one is different. It's been modernised to a very high standard, and with two layers of double glazing in the bedroom, the main road was completely blocked out. The dinner can only be described as exceptional. A great find..

Good breakfast, although very expensive. Location was very convenient for cyclists on the via Rhona, we could put our bikes on the garage. Quiet despite being on a busy road.
