We liked everything. The receptionist, Rebecca, was very helpful, spoke good English, and professionally dealt with our queries. She wasn't 100% sure if the restaurant was open that night as it is only used if there are groups staying. (It turned out that it was open). But Rebecca offered to organise for someone to give us a lift the 2km back into town and recommended a restaurant if we were going to have to do that. Our room was good and large and the bathroom had a fantastic large bath with decent shower in it. We had an exceptionally good dinner. Matthew, our waiter, was fantastic. Good English, polite, efficient, with great enthusiasm, and he definitely wanted us to understand everything on the menu. The food was delicious. The grounds of this venue are beautiful, with the pond full of frogs and lots of rabbits running across the lawns. Breakfast was good.

I had a very friendly and helpful check in lady who assisted me with the difficulty of finding the right adaptor for my chargers (none of the international ones would work!). The room has a lovely decor and is clean and spacious but it's right next to the noisy motorway and train and the hotel is a wedding/event venue.

It was very clean and nicely decorated. The pistachio croissant I had for breakfast was the best pastry I’ve ever had in my life!
