This villa amazed us both. From the outside it is stunning, old, original. Inside it is just the same. A huge comfortable lounge as you go in with an old stone staircase upstairs. There is a party room, a restaurant with music memorabilia, instruments adorn the walls. The waiter was fabulous, he speaks Italian with little English (rightly so) and we speak English with little Italian, we had some great communication and wonderful food, big portions also. Outside is like a wonderland, there is areas to eat, wherever you want to sit really. There is an area where i would think people hold weddings, parties, celebrations, any use really. There is a bar that we didn’t use. The gardens go on and on, great for children to play, swings on the trees etc.. outside play. Walks down to the river,the pool. Upstairs there are 2 more lounges, 1 for probably quiet reading or family time, the other is open at the top of the staircase with a beautiful piano, which the owner plays wonderfully. The rooms are very traditional Italian with everything you would need. You could stay here for a full relaxing holiday or if you had a car have a look around the area and places nearby. We felt so comfortable here, the owner and family just make it feel like home. Highly recommend.

Everything, I loved the place from the minute i drove up to it. It looks better than the pictures, especially in the evenings. The bed is comfy, the staff, I cant really call them staff cos they are part of the place, owners, protectors almost, absolutely top class. The restaurant was the best we visited during our week stay and returned often. We highly recommend all the menu as we tried more or less everything. The garden is a dream, you just need to experience it.
