Amazing central location with views over the river and church. Comfortable spacious apartment with all the mod cons with an interesting history as a grocery store. The owner accommodated our bikes and was very welcoming. Amazing breakfast. We were surprised by the Monday markets that appeared overnight that were the largest and most diverse we’ve ever experienced in our travels.

The building has a wonderful feeling of age although it has been refurbished to a very high standard. Lots of interesting features from the past but done with taste. The staff are lovely, very helpful and attentive. The room had everything you could expect, highly recommend. The location is bang centre of the old town.

The house has a fantastic location and offers a traditional Portuguese decorating experience. The friendliness of the owner and staff is fantastic. A very good breakfast, with local and homemade products.

we love hotel that are family run. we were welcomed by Rogerio, that was burn in this house! which belongs to the family since 1906! a beautiful place, with personal touch, super clean, comfortable, we arrived in the winter and the room was warm and ready for us, beautiful abundant breakfast, great service, strong wifi, amazing location! recommended!
