Paulo is the friendliest host we have had by far! Nothing was too much for him. Every day je gave us tips on where to go, which was really nice because its easy to get overwhelmed. There is just so much to see on the island of Madeira. The cute cats and dogs around the house are very friendly and well taken care of. The breakfast is great.

The hotel has a very good location, it was so good being in the North and being able to explore this side of the Island, and all the other locations are less than an hour driving. Also, there are really good restaurants just a few minutes drive from there. Paulo brings value to staying, he is very friendly, gave us good trips about what to explore around the hotel, and this day was unforgettable. We also prepared a perfect breakfast (sandwiches and fruits) for us to take in the sunrise hiking, which made this experience even better as we had a lovely picnic above the clouds. Another plus in the stay is Carolina and Bento, his two lovely dogs that we will miss a lot. We appreciate everything and definitely will come back.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. This hotel offers something that even the most luxurious five-star properties cannot—genuine warmth, hospitality, and a home-like atmosphere. Every interaction with the staff was heartfelt, and the attention to detail made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special mention to Paulo, who was exceptionally kind, invaluable, and always ready to help. His dedication made our experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place that goes beyond accommodation and truly makes you feel at home, this is the perfect choice. We left with wonderful memories and a feeling that we’ve gained a second home. Highly recommended!
