Denise was very welcoming. The house is well Equipped and charming. This is bed and breakfast accommodation but all guests have access to a kitchen living area and beautiful garden. When we arrived Denise supplied us with milk, coffee and tea. There were cold beers in the fridge too. We will be returning. Thank you Denise and à bientot.

I loved everything. I had a single room in a house that had two other rooms, so I could have been sharing the accommodation with a couple of others, but I was the only one there so had it to myself. Seemingly there is other accommodation where sharing would not be an issue. The house is a very old characterful property in a small hamlet a couple of kilometers from the beautiful small town of Pont d'Ouilly. The catering facilities in the house were excellent; just about every implement that could be imagined. It's a very rustic property in a beautiful area (la Suisse Normande), which is excellent for hiking. There is a large back garden that, when the sun shines, has somewhere to be in the sun at all times. Eating in the garden is entirely possible. If you don't want to self cater, there are eating possibilities in Pont d'Ouilly, but that would probably involve a drive. In some ways, the landlady, Denise, was one of the highlights. She is so welcoming and helpful. I immediately felt totally at home. Denise lives in the house opposite. The accommodation was her parents' home.
