“The Perfect Homestay Experience”

Our stay at Mel Ville was an absolute delight! The hosts and staff were extremely sweet and welcoming, making our stay truly memorable. The location is unbeatable—perfectly central, putting us within easy walking distance of all the important monuments and, of course, the beach. A huge highlight was the excellent, authentic home-cooked food, which was a delicious treat every day. Highly recommended!

I checked in with my entire family — and our dog! Mel Ville is wonderfully pet-friendly, which made the trip even more special. The property is an amazing 3-BHK stay, just a short walk from the Promenade beach, the vibrant White Town cafés, and the shopping streets of Pondicherry. The location is perfect — peaceful yet close to everything. The home is beautifully designed, super aesthetic, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom is spacious, well-furnished, and fully air-conditioned — a true blessing in the Pondy heat. The functional kitchen was handy for quick meals, and if you don’t feel like cooking, you can simply let the hosts know — they’ll arrange delicious home-style food, both veg and non-veg. The food deserves a special mention: the mutton pie was unforgettable, and the freshly baked cookies plus the traditional Sindhi breakfast made our mornings warm, homely, and tasty. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. A heartfelt thanks to Anup, who spent time with us and added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. A special thank-you to Mehak and Anup for being such thoughtful and warm hosts — you truly made our holiday experience feel like staying with family. The property itself is Instagram-worthy — stylish interiors, spotless bathrooms, cozy beds, and every little detail in place for a relaxed, feel-good holiday. A awesome stay in Pondicherry that’s pet-friendly, aesthetic, super comfortable, and perfectly located near the beach and White Town, Mel Ville is the place to be. We left with happy hearts, full tummies, and wonderful memories — and we’re already excited to come back soon!

We had a lovely stay at Mel Ville! The room is curated very well. The hosts have thought about everything - from extra bed linen to motion sensor lights in the corridor. The hosts were also very helpful with their recommendations and arranging local transport. We also had a hearty breakfast to complete our pleasant stay.
