As one reviewer wrote - it is a "quirky" place. Not a hotel, not quite a B&B or guest house. But we enjoyed our stay of three nights The location is close to the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance and the train. was the main appeal, and the price was good. The rooms are affiliated in some way with the 24-hr bar and pastry shop Magma, and they open off a big courtyard. The room was spacious, clean, and secure. The people were all friendly (though I never figured out who was in charge). Breakfast was (very good) coffee and choice of pastry at the bar. Prices were low and quality high - so I oped for more pastries. In my room I could hear the train regularly the first night - but then was used to it. We found good restaurants near by ("Gare" and especially - at about a 15 minute walk - "I Matti"). This is not for the picky, romantic, luxury-liking traveler, but just fine for those looking for a good price and location.

For a budget traveler this was a great place to stay. The room was large and clean, there was a refrigerator in the room and a shared kitchen. Being near train station, bus stops and Pompei ruins it was a perfect place for me and my son.

Clean, neat hotel within 10 minute walk to the Pompeii ruins. When you arrive it isn't very clear that the room is in the rear courtyard of a home behind a restaurant. The young lady running the hotel was very lovely - but the owners of the cafe next door (who seem to be associated with the hotel as well) weren't as nice and we noticed we were treated not as well as the local Italians who also came to dine there. A bit disappointing really.

The location of Domus Magma is fantastic. It is very close to the train station, the entrance to the Pompeii ruins, and to various restaurants. The cafe out the front of the accommodation where you have breakfast is also wonderful, with lots of lovely cakes and pastries.Carmen is so friendly and welcoming. She arranged a transfer to Positano for us, and we were so impressed with Jonathon, the driver she organised for us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had some lovely big drawers under the vanity to put your toiletries bag in. We would definitely stay here again!.

Location is very good, just walk 10mins go to Mt vesuvius, the Pompeii UNCSEO,around there you can round many good restaurants, and the palace is very peaceful,the owner Carman is very helpful girl and helping us solve many problems, and l really like the fresh nature juices and the Italian traditional breakfast there,If your next journey is to SORRENTO, the train station just walk 5mins from the B&B,last many thank for the Carman driving to the station because of the suddenly raining,❤❤

Excellent comfort, great place to stay in terms of location. Staff was so nice, friendly and flexible. This place has a 24 shop open, which is also great.

Perfect location, quick walk from the train station and to Pompeji. Tje room was well equipped and very clean. Everything was very good!
