We had a wonderful stay at this charming guesthouse in the Tuscan region. The hosts, Antonela and Gabriele, were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The garden was just as lovely as the entire surrounding area, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We truly appreciated the hosts’ thoughtful recommendations, which helped us discover the best of the region. Their attention to detail made all the difference – they even provided us with umbrellas on a rainy day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tuscany!

Podere Mona was the perfect late-afternoon stopover on our northbound road trip by hire car. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who—despite the language gap—made every effort to connect, with a mix of broken English, our patchy Italian, and a trusty translation app bridging the rest. The apartment was clean, characterful, and well-equipped, though the “kitchen-in-a-cupboard” felt like a missed opportunity given the generous room size. It was one of several stays on our Italian journey, and while we’d happily return for another night, a longer stay would depend on a few thoughtful tweaks. Our stay was during June 2025.
