This quiet place ist idealy situated for visiting the historic sites by walking and is just opposite of a bus Station. We had a very warm welcome although we arrived very early (before 11h). Thisal answered all our qiestions and helped us to Plan our Sightseeing tour. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were extraordinary cooked by his grandma.

This was the best stay in Sri Lanka for me! Thisal and his grandmother are so lovely, they help you with everything and the food she cooks is just amazing :) The rooms are really simple, it is a home stay, they are clean and spacious with airco and mosquito net. Would highly recommend!!

Thisal guest house was perfect for our one night stay in Polonnaruwa. We were warmly welcomed by our host who were so helpful, getting us bikes to visit the ancient city (which is very close), they also accomodated us with early breakfast so we could catch our train the next day and Thisal gave us a lift to the station. Thanks again for everything!
