The hotel is in a beautiful location on the lake, surrounded by birds and wildlife. We loved watching the mongooses and chipmunks play in the garden. The food was good, and there were 2 choices for breakfast, western or Sri Lankan. The Sri Lankan was nice and spicy. The beer and wine were reasonably priced. They arranged balloons and fruit with a cold bottle of wine on our first day because it was our anniversary. They also arranged bikes delivered to the hotel so we could pedal around the ancient city.

Air con was great, the room was nice although a little tired, the birds were very loud when we arrived almost deafening, but kept the bugs away and were quiet at night and didn’t disturb. The staff were friendly, great views. Swimming pool was nice and relaxing with nice views. Drinks and dinner service was really good and nice. Helpful staff, where fine with our early breakfast

Stunning place with lake views, beautiful pool in the garden surrounded by birds. Modern well furnished room. Great boat trip available.
