Fantastic stay! The apartment is in an excellent location: beach, restaurants, and supermarkets are all within easy reach. Yet it’s tucked away in a peaceful setting. There’s a common lounge with a comfy seating area, a fridge, and an electric kettle. The small garden is lovely, and the resident tortoises are adorable. We were even greeted with a delicious melon as a welcome gift, which was a very delicious. Our host, Mark, was exceptionally friendly and responsive. He helped with anything we needed and proactively offered great suggestions for places to visit and eat. We would happily return and highly recommend this place

Thanks to Mark for his welcome, kindness, hospitality, availability and chats, and gifts of free melon, it was a lovely stay. The room was clean, bright, spacious and comfortable (air con) with a large balcony looking over garden and fields to distant mountains. Great for morning coffee. There is also a shared fridge, kettle and microwave. It is located in quiet rural end of town but just 5-10 minutes walk to lakefront and then a further lovely lakefront walk into town with lots of hotels, bars, cafes and shops. Also can walk 3km along lake to Drilon NP with its waterways. A great place to stay if you like walking or cycling. Great value for the price. I Thanks Mark, hope to see you again next year.
