Navigation pro tip: you can get all the way to the apartment on asphalt. Don't trust GPS entirely. I took wrong turns following the GPS, and ended up on narrow, steep, rocky road dead ends, with no way to turn around, and had to back down all the way with my car slipping. We stayed at Ul. Janka Bobetka #28, but the GPS took us to #16. The street has two parallel halves, and #28 is at the top half. - beautiful scene from the windows and balconies. - Although the sea is not visible, the mountains provide a great view. - Close to the sea, you can get there by walk. - Close to Split. 30 mins by car in heavy traffic. - The host speaks good English, and provides very useful information about the area, and nearby beaches. Host was very kind and helpful. - White, clean towels. - Podstrana has great, and not crowded beaches. We liked it much better than Kasjuni beach for example.
