What a location! We could see the Roman ruins from the balcony. Great location. Incredible value!

This accommodation in the city of Plovdiv is intended for less demanding travelers. However, it met our expectations. The owners were kind and helpful; on the last day they even ordered a taxi to the airport for us, and the price was lower than the information online. Since we were departing in the evening, we left our belongings in their small shop without any problems. The biggest advantage of the accommodation is its proximity to the old town and ancient monuments. From the balcony, we had a view of the remains of the Roman forum. The Nebet Tepe hill is about a 15-minute walk away at a relaxed pace. The ancient theatre is also about 15 minutes away, and the city center—with the remains of the Roman stadium and one of the oldest mosques in Bulgaria—is about a 30-minute walk. On the last day, we also visited two more hills in the city. Overall, I rate our stay in Plovdiv as breathtaking and unforgettable for history lovers. The people are kind and helpful, and it’s clear that the city has not yet been spoiled by mass tourism. I wonder what it will be like in 10 years, but until then, we would definitely like to visit Plovdiv again.
