The location: secured area, close to playa del Carmen city center(Quinta avenue) - the animals walking around in the resort - breakfast buffet

Tbh the hotel is designed very well and managed very well. I liked almost everything. The hotel layout, food, the beach. The peacocks and animals on the grounds was a highlight for kids. I liked the jungle forest on the territory and that the property is decentralised, so you don’t see too many people.

It was an excellent experience staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The food was great — the buffets were generous, with good‑quality dishes, plenty of options, and lots of variety. There were different themed meals every day. The natural environment was fantastic, and the interaction with nature and wildlife within the resort was very well designed. There is also direct access to the beach.

Our introduction to Tucan was with Concierge Cony, she was warm, welcoming, able to answer all our questions and immediately made us feel like we were home. The layout of the resort is nice, with both transport available and walking paths. The walking path through the jungle allows you to feel the peace of the animals surrounding you, coati, peacock, spider monkey and howler monkies share thier space with you. Im not the resort type... but I would stay with iberostar again
