Fantastic location, only a few minutes' drive from Matala and right in Pitsidia. The view from the room is amazing and it was fantastic to start each day by sitting at the balcony with a cup of coffee, absorbing the views. Also parking is readily available, and the homeowner, a sweet old Cretan lady, is wonderful and nice!

The area it was in was amazing, literally JUST out of the main town on a hill where you could see an amazing sunset from the balcony every night. Staff were amazing, everything was there for us too Cook with and make us feel at home!

As a single person who always cooks at home, I was looking for somewhere to stay where I did not have to do any real cooking - it's a holiday! Some people may be put off, if they want to do a lot of cooking, as there is only an electric stove with 2 electric hobs, and an electric kettle. There is no oven or microwave (not that I wanted them anyway). The accommodation was ideal for me. A comfortable double bed, decent sized shower room, large living/dining room, a/c in the bedroom and a balcony that had a wonderful view of the sea (with perfect sunsets). Nearby (50 metres, at the most) was the Panorama restaurant that offered very good Cretian food (particularly the lamb) and specialities such as the 'crazy' pizza and 'crazy' spaghetti. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is very close to Komos Beach (I watched some turtles hatching when I was there) and the 'famous' town of Matala. The local town of Pitsidia was a short walk from the Panorama and has plenty of restaurants, shops, bakery, pharmacy, supermarket etc. The bus from Heraklion stops in Pitsidia and it also takes you close to the beach at Komos and the town of Matala.
