The property, furniture and fittings were excellent. If anything the photos on the Booking.com site did not reflect the reality, i.e. it was better in real life. We met the owner on site after arrival and he asked if we were happy and if we needed anthing. He explained a few things to us that were not obvious. We asked for more logs for the stove on day 2 and he provided these. All in all we were very happy and would recomend this place for family or 2 or 3 couples. ( we had 5 people). The property has been rented for 3 years or so but everything looks brand new.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by an inviting atmosphere: the entire house, from the ground floor to the upper floor/attic, is adorned with beautiful wooden floorboards and rustic doors that exude a timeless charm. Perfectly coordinated in color, every room invites relaxation—a place where you instantly feel at ease. The hosts are simply wonderful: warm, attentive, and always there when needed, yet never intrusive. You can feel that “The Stables” is more than just a holiday home; it’s part of a larger dream they’ve brought to life with their estate and dedication to livestock. Their passion and hard work in creating this haven deserve the utmost respect. We invite everyone to experience this unique place and discover the magic the hosts have created. The furnishings are a dream. The cozy leather sofas and armchairs invite you to unwind—perfect for reading, enjoying family conversations, or, if the mood strikes, watching a movie on the smart TV. The kitchen is an absolute highlight: equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and so much more, it offers a level of quality that surpasses many households, from high-quality knives to thoughtful little details. The beds are pure bliss: spacious, incredibly comfortable, and ideal for a restful night. The generous space throughout the property creates a sense of freedom and well-being that made our stay unforgettable. The Pitlochry area is a paradise for nature lovers. While we couldn’t find longer walks directly from the house, the region offers countless opportunities for outdoor activities. Our highlight was the hike up Ben Vrackie—a breathtaking climb with spectacular views!

Property was in a lovely location, furnished and decorated to a very high standard and very well equipped. There was plenty open space outside which was well maintained.
